We would like to share our philosophy and a high-level roadmap with next steps of our continued integration of Uni customers to GoDaddy.
Before we dig in, we want to let you know that we won’t make changes to your experience until we’re confident the new solution is as-good or better than what you’re used to.
Domain Only Accounts (no Uni Market listings)
You’ve most likely seen in the last few months we have migrated some Uni accounts to GoDaddy. We started migrating accounts with domains only (no Uni Market accounts) because we were able to offer a seamless experience to those customers. We plan to continue the migration of Uni domain accounts to GoDaddy in small batches. We’ll keep you updated on progress and will inform each impacted customer in advance with relevant information.
Accounts with Uni Market Listings
For the Uni Market users (sellers, buyers, domain parking users, and portfolio management), our goal is similar; ensure that existing Uni Market customers benefit from similar management tools and features after migrating to GoDaddy/Afternic. We have been focused on:
- Delivering an improved experience for sellers on the Afternic platform
- Redesigning the listing creation flow that provides pricing guidance and bulk operations
- Creating a new dashboard that provides actionable insights and transparency into broker activity pertaining to domain inquiries
- Designing a modern UX that is a joy to use
We will be migrating in small batches the Uni Market accounts once the Afternic upgrades have been made until all accounts have been migrated. We’ll keep you updated on progress and will inform each impacted customer in advance with relevant information.
Any questions regarding the migration can be submitted to Uni Customer Support at help@uniregistry.com.
